The employee presents a card or fob to a reader on the front of the safety machine. Their name will appear on the card reader and they can then make a selection from the safety equipment or tools available, similar to using a normal snack vending machine. The product is removed from the delivery bin and the transaction is complete.

The safety machine is operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so downtime is reduced due to products always being available.

The preferred option is to connect to the internet onsite via a LAN cable, however a GPRS (sim card) can also be used. More remote sites will need the LAN option as mobile reception can be unreliable.

Safety Stations can also supply a "desktop reader" which can turn your current store room for larger personal protection equipment items (hard hats and work boots for example) into a checkout type system. The same cashless systems cards used on the Safety Stations will also operate the desktop reader. All purchase records will be recorded in the inventory control system.

The reports can be created in .PDF or .CSV formats and can include everything from individual user reports to the whole company’s usage. Employees can also be grouped for more efficient costings. We believe that our inventory control system is the most thorough and user-friendly on the market.
